Horizon Education Centers has provided high quality care and education for over 40 years. Whether you're looking for child care, preschool programs, before - or after-school programs, or summer camp, Horizon offers these enrichment programs for children 18 months to 12 years of age. Our programs focus on language and literacy, social, emotional, and physical and development. Horizon guides children with state standards, assessments and individual learning plans, and we focus on kindergarten readiness and school age enrichment. ABOUT Ms. Wendy is enrolled in Horizon's Learn to Earn Progam where she is attending college to become a teacher. She chose this profession because she enjoys teaching children and giving them the proper tools to guide them in life.

ABOUT After having children, Ms. Shelly decided she wanted a career that involved children. She found the perfect position and started teaching in a Head Start Program. She has been teaching for 16 years.

ABOUT Ms. Auradel is originally from New York, and when she moved to Ohio she babysat several times, which inspired her to work with children. Later, she was offered a position with Horizon and was happy to take the job.

ABOUT Ms. Brittainy recently returned to Lorain after living in North Carolina for 13 years. She is the proud mom of two boys.

ABOUT Ms. Kait started at Horizon in 2016 as an Americorps Member and spent a year helping families and creating different ideas for Family Nights.

ABOUT Ms. Aida is a preschool paraprofessional for Lorain City Schools and a lead teacher at Horizon. She loves being a mom and working with children, and she can't imagine herself in any other career.
