Kindergarten Readiness
To best prepare your enrolled child for kindergarten, Horizon's development standards are based on Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum Gold. This nationally recognized, research-based approach to early learning focuses on center-based exploration and discovery learning experiences with small and large group learning. Literary skills, verbal skills, social skills, and numbers & letter development are a main focus in our preschools every day. Horizon also offers developmental screenings throughout the year to assess these areas and skills.
Development
The philosophy driving our educational program is to help infants and toddlers relate and interact in group situations by providing intellectual stimulation, as well as encourage social, emotional, and physical growth in the classroom.
