Most working families are eligible for an annual tax-credit on their Federal Income taxes for up to $3,000 for your first child or $6,000 for two or more children. This is a tax credit NOT a deduction. The tax credit can offset taxes you have paid or owe. See IRS Publication 503 for more information. Horizon can provide you with a year end childcare expense report to help you claim your tax-credit.
