Horizon Education Centers has provided high quality care and education for over 40 years.  Whether you're looking for child care, preschool programs, before - or after-school programs, or summer camp, Horizon offers these enrichment programs for children 18 months to 12 years of age.  Our programs focus on language and literacy, social,  emotional, and physical and development. Horizon guides children with state standards, assessments and individual learning plans, and we focus on kindergarten readiness and school age enrichment.  Each of our centers is highly rated by the State of Ohio Step Up to Quality Rating.

Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

ABOUT Ms. Brook has always had a loved for children. She babysat when she was younger and enjoyed taking care of children. She has also taken extra classes to earn her Afterschool Program Certificate.

Patty Mcfadden Lead in Homework/Computer Teacher

EDUCATION Associate Degrees in Liberal Arts and Nursing from Lorain County Community College

ABOUT Ms. Patty originally worked for the foster care system for nine years before joining Horizon. She has had years of experience when it comes to working with children and families.

Marie Collins Toddler Teacher

EDUCATION Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lorain County Community College

ABOUT Ms. Marie has always had a love for children. She has worked with toddlers and preschoolers for 22 years with preschool and toddlers.

Sara Kelly Lead Preschool Teacher

EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati

ABOUT Ms. Sara started working in a child care setting as a security officer in 2006 in Brecksville. Her director noticed her love for the children and recruited her to be an infant teacher. Sara loves teaching young minds and building a community with her students.

ABOUT Ms. Brenna has been with Horizon for four years. She knew she wanted to be a teacher at a young age and has followed that dream.

Olivia Meyer Lead Character and Cultural Education Teacher

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton

ABOUT Ms. Olivia has worked at Horizon for a year. She started last summer as a camp counselor and was hired as a SAC Lead for the school year. She loves the kids and working with her fellow teachers.
