Horizon Program at Stockyard Community School

Our afterschool program at Stockyard Community School provides children with a great place to learn and have fun. It's located on W. 65th Street close to I-90.

Our Stockyard Community After-School Care center hours of operation are from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

EDUCATION: Youngstown University BS Social Work, Southeastern Business College 2 yr degree in Business administration with major in law administration, Lorain County Community College 2 yr degree in Art, Lorain County Community College certificate in Computer Maintenance and Networking.
 
ABOUT: After working in a local Hospital for 21 years decided to retire and made the decision to shift my focus to working with kids which is deeply personal and rooted in a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.  I am also a party planner in my spare time and have been doing parties for the last 15 years.  I just love making things with my hands.  Some items include pinatas, engraving crystals, party shirts, to key chains and lanyards, and anything that can be personalized.  I also have a passion for balloon art.  I was recently contacted by Voyage Ohio Magazine to do an interview to share my story.  I am also a proud veteran of the United States Army.
