Located on Pearl Road, our Parma Child Care Center offers preschool scholarships and programs for children aged 3 - 12.

Our Parma Heights Child Care Center hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Program Highlights

Erin Joyce

Center Director

Education: Associate of Applied Sciences in Early Education. Currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Social Work.

About: Erin Joyce is excited to return to Horizon as the Lakewood Center Director! With 16 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings a passion for creating nurturing, enriching environments where children thrive. Erin has taught infants through preschoolers, managed a school-based aftercare program, and previously served as a center director, strengthening her leadership skills and knowledge of early childhood education. She looks forward to partnering with families, inspiring her team, and making a lasting, positive impact in the Lakewood community.

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Ashworth University

ABOUT Ms. Melinda has worked with children for over 25 years. Previously, she worked for Community United Head Start as a lead teacher and then later as a site administrator for 19 years. Her mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, child-centered, and quality educational environment that fosters a child's individual success and a love of learning in collaboration with parents and the community.

EDUCATION: Child Development Associate - Starting Point

ABOUT: Sam has worked 7 years with children in every age group. Sam discovered a love for the infants in 2019, and has worked hard to receive her CDA to become the Lead Teacher. To Sam, every day is a milestone in the lives of infants.
