Horizon Education Centers has provided high quality care and education for over 40 years. Whether you're looking for child care, preschool programs, before - or after-school programs, or summer camp, Horizon offers these enrichment programs for children 18 months to 12 years of age. Beginning June 2021, the North Olmsted location will begin accepting children as young as 6 weeks.
Our programs focus on language and literacy, social, emotional, and physical and development. Horizon guides children with state standards, assessments and individual learning plans, and we focus on kindergarten readiness and school age enrichment. Each of our centers is highly rated by the State of Ohio Step Up to Quality Rating.

ABOUT Nick Gresko taught middle school science for almost 10 years and was assistant principal for almost three. He was also a center director for three years, where he took his center from 1 star to 5. Nick believes communication, having a close staff and excellence in everything we do is the key to an amazing center. Doing these three things will provide for top-notch education and care for the students and a safe place where students and families will want to send their children to learn.

ABOUT Ms. Katie has been in child care for the past six years and began working for Horizon in April 2020 when they took over Family Life Center. She believes in communication and collaboration with other staff members and families. These two things are so important in building a foundation where a child can feel safe to learn and grow!

ABOUT Sue worked at Glenview Children’s center in Bay Village for 19 years where she taught toddlers for eight years and then the Pre-K class. In 2012 she started at Oberlin Early Childhood Center where she advanced her career into administration. She has lifetime of experience that helps her build a strong relationship with you and your family to create an exciting learning experience for your child at the center.

ABOUT Marietta has worked at Horizon for the past seven years. She leads the OST (Out of School Time) program at the center. She encourages the children to be creative with Lego blocks, Lego Robotics, K’Nex and building blocks. She also nurtures their interest in science by planning hands-on experiments for them to enjoy.
