Child Care Center

Horizon Education Centers has provided high quality care and education for over 40 years.  Horizon offers these enriched child care programs for children 6 weeks to 5 years.  Our programs focus on language and literacy, social,  emotional, and physical and development. Horizon guides children with state standards, assessments and individual learning plans, and we focus on kindergarten readiness and school age enrichment.  Each of our centers is highly rated by the State of Ohio Step Up to Quality Rating. This location is a Universal Pre-Kindergarten site funded by Invest in Children.

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Melinda Roginsky Lead Preschool Teacher

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth University 

ABOUT Ms. Melinda has worked with children for 24 years. Previously, she worked for Community United Head Start as a lead teacher and then later a site administrator for 19 years. Her mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, child-centered, and quality educational environment that fosters a child's individual success and a love of learning in collaboration with parents and the community.

Sharon Link Preschool Lead Teacher

EDUCATION Associate degree from Cuyahoga Community College in Early Childhood Education. She is working toward earning her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Western Governors University.  

ABOUT When she's not taking part in her first passion of teaching, she can be found engaged in her second passion: playing with her dogs.
