Located on Detroit Avenue, our Lakewood Child Care Center boasts a Five-Star Rating from Ohio's "Step Up To Quality" Program, offering preschool scholarships, infant care, and programs for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University 

ABOUT Michelle has worked with children for over 20 years. Her passion is creating an environment for children to succeed and feel loved and safe. 

Becky Volle

Center Director

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences/Early Childhood Developmental Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace University 

ABOUT: Becky has been working with children and families as a Center Director for over 20 years. Becky's mission is to create a trusting environment where children can thrive, feeling successful and empowered. 

Stephanie Skvara

Preschool Lead Teacher

EDUCATION Associates in Early Childhood Education from Tri-C

ABOUT Over the course of her more than eight years in the field, Miss Stephanie has worked with children of all ages.  Her love for the preschoolers comes from the desire to see them grow and develop.  She provides quality activities to nurture their minds.  Every child has a new milestone daily, in the preschool classroom!

Melinda Roginsky

Preschool Lead Teacher

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Ashworth University

ABOUT Ms. Melinda has worked with children for over 25 years. Previously, she worked for Community United Head Start as a lead teacher and then later as a site administrator for 19 years. Her mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, child-centered, and quality educational environment that fosters a child's individual success and a love of learning in collaboration with parents and the community.

Samantha Zingale

Infant Lead Teacher
EDUCATION: Child Development Associate - Starting Point

ABOUT: Sam has worked 7 years with children in every age group.  Sam discovered a love for the infants in 2019, and has worked hard to receive her CDA to become the Lead Teacher.  To Sam, every day is a milestone in the lives of infants.

Latonia Johnson

ABOUT Latonia has been working with children ages 1-5 for two years.  She believes that children are our most valuable asset. She is teaching to help children have a brighter future.
