This day is all about generosity, compassion, and creating opportunities for every child to thrive.
This year, we are proud to focus our efforts on supporting the Mary Smith Summer Camp Scholarship Fund. This fund was established by the Horizon Board of Trustees with a clear mission: to ensure that every child can enjoy the full summer camp experience, regardless of financial circumstances.
Summer Camp is more than just fun: it’s a chance for children to learn, grow, and explore. Field trips are a major part of that experience, adding exciting educational activities that broaden horizons and spark curiosity. Unfortunately, some families cannot afford the additional costs associated with these trips. That’s where the Mary Smith Scholarship Fund steps in, helping cover these expenses so every child can participate and benefit.
By contributing to this fund during Day of Giving, you will help families provide their children with unforgettable experiences that combine learning and adventure. Together, we can make sure no child misses out on the joy and enrichment that Summer Camp offers.
