Did you know 1 in 5 students reports being a victim of bullying? And, 73% of teens say that the best way to stop bullying is to step in when you see it? At Horizon, we support bullying prevention and recently challenged elementary and middle school children to take part in our “Step-Up to Bullying Video Contest”.
Bullying Video Requirements:
- 2 minutes or less in length
- Teams of 10 or less
- All team members names listed in the credits
- Must be in Windows Media Player format
- Must address ways to step-up to Bullying
- Be a Friend
- Speak Up
- Help them get out of the situation
- Tell an older person
All videos were rated on a scale from 0-3 (zero being ordinary and 3 being outstanding):
- Quality of camera work
- Quality of sound work
- Acting quality & script
- Creativity
- Staging & props
- Overall production
