Securing affordable child care can be a huge issue for parents. It is one of those things you hear about before having children and once you sit down and crunch the numbers, you realize just why it is such a challenge for so many parents. In fact, some parents end up deciding it makes more sense economically not to work than to use almost all of the money they make to pay for childcare.
If you continue to work and need childcare, the stress of paying for it can take a toll on you and stressed parents are not always at their best. Horizon Education Centers offer a number of discounts and options for parents who need quality child care. You can save on the cost of childcare with us if:
- You enroll two or more children from the same family
- Your income qualifies you for scholarship aid
- You agree to an Enrollment Contract
- You agree to Lump Sum Prepayment
- Your employer is part of the Partnership for Children program
- You schedule a visit online
- You refer a friend
And while you can certainly hire a babysitter to take care of your child either in your home or their home, you may find that your child reaps more benefits from being at an education center. Horizon Education Centers has qualified, trained staff that will not just watch your child but who work to enrich your child’s life.
We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. Horizon provides childcare throughout the year, preschool and school-age (before and after school) programs for children 18 months through 12 years of age. This also includes Head Start at the Lorain County Centers and Universal Pre Kindergarten (UPK) at the North Olmsted Center.
