The Horizon leadership team selects two staff members, one from Cuyahoga County and one from Lorain County, who embody each of our Horizon Core Values. These values are more than statements; they are the foundation of our work, guiding how we serve children, families, and each other. Today, we honor four of those values and eight remarkable individuals who bring them to life.

This award recognizes those who look at challenges with determination and optimism. They don’t get discouraged—they get creative. They help their teams navigate obstacles, find solutions, and keep our work moving forward. Our Problem Solver recipients remind us that every challenge is an opportunity to rise.
