East Recreation Center in Elyria, located conveniently on Prospect Street near Route 20, welcomes children for after-school care. It provides homework help, hands-on experiments, social skills training, and STEM activities, offering a comprehensive and enriching experience.

Our East Recreation center hours of operation are from 2:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Program Highlights

Horizon's afterschool programs offer a range of benefits to youth and families. These programs support social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development, reduce risky behaviors, and improve physical health.

ABOUT  Ivy has been working with children in Elyria for many years and joined Horizon as a Site Coordinator in 2021. She loves working with and giving back to the community she was raised in!
