Program Overview
This paid CDA Apprenticeship Program prepares individuals for rewarding careers in early childhood education through hands-on experience and professional mentorship. Apprentices gain valuable classroom experience while completing coursework toward their nationally recognized CDA credential — all at no cost.
Who Can Apply
- Residents of Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties
- Ages 16+ with a high school diploma or GED
- High school students who are at least a junior

Apprentices Commit to:
- Completing the CDA Professional Portfolio
- Weekly training classes
- 120 online training hours
- 480 classroom hours
